Understanding Fibromyalgia Pain

Fibromyalgia pain isn’t mild and a mere annoyance.
Fibromyalgia pain is constant, deep, gnawing, grasping, twisting, wrenching and all consuming.

Our ability to handle it and appear relatively okay comes from it not ceasing AT ALL since it started many years ago. The mental “fog” that you witness, and the majority of which you don’t, is evidence of overwhelming pain impacting the brain’s ability to function.

Fibromyalgia pain is life-altering.
Not just in how it’s felt but in all the constant ways it affects our bodies, our lives and how we are able to live them.
